If you live in the Fredericksburg area, the first step is to give us permission to bury fiber to your home or business and put a Network Interface Device (NID) on the exterior. There is no cost to you for us to bring fiber to your location if we can do it while the Fredericksburg fiber build is taking place. If we have to come back to do this work later, there will be a charge.

This fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) project will begin in 2023. Construction of the mainline fiber and fiber lines to homes (Phases 1 and 2) will take most of the 2023 construction season. We expect to start adding customers (Phase 3) to the network in late 2023. This timeline is dependent on weather.
No. Fiber delivers each customer their own connection. Cable/coaxial systems are shared, but our FTTH network provides each premise its own feed. This means the speed of the fiber Internet plan you subscribe to will not vary due to your neighbor’s usage.

You can expect a great lineup of popular channels. The set-top box we use has multiple inputs, and this allows us to connect to a wide variety of TVs including older models. Likewise, our Digital TV remote can be programmed to work with most TV brands. Our DVR can hold approximately 250 hours of HD programming and approximately 500 hours of SD programs. Before we leave an installation call, we will program the remote(s) and make sure the TV signal is acceptable.
