I've been lucky

No, I haven't won the lottery or sold my crops at a great price. I view my luck as opportunities and new challenges. No, it hasn't been all good luck, some has been bad. But, I must deal with the challenge.

Defeats weren't enjoyable, weren't suppose to be, but they have taught me valuable lessons. I can't control everything that happens to me, but I can control how I respond. The way I respond helps to build my character.

I am blessed with a loving family and good friends. I try to be as much of a blessing for them, as they have been for me. I hope I am not defined by who my friends are, but rather by what kind of friend I am. .
