Yellow Star Grass
(Hypoxis hirsuta) |
| I was walking through a prairie one day, concentrating
on the taller plant species, when for some reason, I looked down at the
ground. After stooping over, I found this delicate flower blooming
at the same level as a common blue violet. The brilliance of the
yellow colors amazed me and demanded that a photo be created.
