| Many years ago the DOT replaced bridges near Tripoli.
Along the roadways they planted a combination of vetch and other grasses.
I have heard conflicting opinions regarding the effectiveness of vetch.
Whether or not it is the ideal plant for roadside stabilization is a question
I cannot answer. What I can tell you is it smells very nice when
it first starts flowering.
