| Spring beauty . . . what an interesting name!
In my experience enjoying spring wildflowers, this splendid little flower
was often overlooked. Perhaps that was because of their tiny size.
Maybe it was due to their "quiet" woodland nature -- their blossoms don't
call out for attention. What ever the reason, I now take time to
enjoy the spring beauty when I find them. The effort is rewarded
with a short pause from the daily activities of life and the realization
that even the little things count.
