Kidneyleaf Buttercup Kidneyleaf Buttercup
(Ranunculus abortivus)
Located five minutes from my home is Sweet Marsh, a man-made wetland area comprised of nearly 2,300 acres of marsh and upland timber interspersed with cropland.  With so many varieties of habitats, you also find many different species of plants.  One such plant is the kidneyleaf buttercup.  Look for this plant in wet, often shaded areas.
