Hoary Puccoon Hoary Puccoon
(Lithospermum canescens)
Hoary puccoon plants always bring thoughts of sunny ridge-top locales -- often very remote regions.  Although I have observed hoary puccoon in many places, my favorite "hunting grounds" for this plant are the rappelling ridge at Brush Creek Canyon and on the upper reaches of the Yellow River Forest.
