| Although they produce no colorful flowers, ferns have
a unique relaxing quality. I find it impossible to quickly travel
along a fern-lined trail.
Ferns present a problem for me similar to mushrooms . . . I can only identify a couple of species. This is one I do not know! Northeast Iowa Timetable: late April - mid May |
