Iowa Wildflowers

Yarrow  Yarrow
    (Achillea millefolium)
When I first became interested in wildflowers, I was fascinated by the yarrow plant.  It always seemed to remind me of the beginning of summer and all the activities the season brought with it.  I even planted yarrow in my yard, in hopes of propagating plenty of the feathery leafed, white plant.

Now however, the yarrow seems to be running rampant through my yard, causing me to change my opinion of the plant quite substantially.
