Wildflower photography often lends itself to bird photography.  Few flowers are more inviting to birds than the touch-me-not is to hummingbirds.  Over the years I have observed countless hummingbirds as they flit from one flower to another, apparently oblivious to my presence.

"Old-timers" refer to the touch-me-not as the antidote to the irritation caused by stinging nettles.  Simply rub the juice from the stem of a touch-me-not over the inflamed area and relief will be felt.  I've tested the theory twice and have noticed relief.  You be the judge . . .
