Bull Thistle

For me, the bull thistle and all the other thistles present a problem. Farmers and others consider them a noxious weed and something to eradicate. When I look at the bull thistle, I see a miniture ecosystem where bees, flies, and other interesting insects thrive. Northeast Iowa Timetable: July and August
