Birdsfoot Trefoil Birdsfoot Trefoil
(Lotus corniculatus)
I first noticed profuse blooms of birdsfoot trefoil shortly after a road construction project was completed near my home.  Whether the blooms were intentionally seeded or came about spontaneously is unknown.  What I do know is the blooms of this delicate plant provide attractive color during the warm summer months.
