Earth Star Fungus |
| Imagine my surprise when I located not only a pasqueflower,
but also a pair of earth star fungus. Both were located in an isolated
and unique habitat in Black Hawk County. The early spring weather
had been wet, apparently providing ideal growing conditions for the fungus
and the pasqueflower.
