| During so many of my walks through moist, rich woods,
I will notice a small, bright red splash of color. Often the color
is partially hidden under forest litter. What have I found . . .

I have observed crimson cup fungus at all times -- with snow in them to nearly hidden under the newly fallen leaves of autumn.
